Club Info

Shooting takes place on Monday evenings from 7:30pm at Tithe Farm Social Club (indoors during the winter and outdoors during the Summer) together with several Sunday afternoons. When the hall is not available on Mondays, the shooting night may be moved to Wednesdays. The current membership is in excess of 40 archers, with new members joining each year after completion of the successful Beginners Course. Members several of whom now hold teaching and coaching certificates run this during June & July. A 6 session course is run at the end of May / beginning of June, dates to be confirmed. Pinner Bowmen have 4 qualified Coaches one of whom is a County Coach.

Involvement within the county has lead to three of our members holding positions on the County Committee and all their meetings are held at the Tithe Farm Club House. In addition to shooting activities, our members have in the past supported the main clubs Sports & Social Fun days and had a regular team in the former skittles league. The Archery Darts Competition, takes place at regular intervals to raise awareness of the sport and liaise with other sections of the club.

Pinner Bowmen have access to an indoor 20 yard hall at Tithe Farm, shooting outside on the pitch weather permitting with distances up to 60 metres.

On Sundays, 2pm-5pm, Pinner Bowmen also have access to an outdoor area at Queens School in Bushey, with shooting distances of up to 100 metres.

Pinner Bowmen currently has aproximately 50 members of all ages. The club can accommodate both Recurve and Long Bow disciplines (sorry no compounds).
